There are so many factors that go into designing a successful space - scale, finish, texture, color, pattern - all of which depend heavily on the design style that you're working with (modern, traditional, vintage...). I think one of the most challenging design styles to pull off is eclectic.
The goal is to create a space that mixes different time periods, styles, sizes and patterns, without it looking hodge-podge or chaotic. Not an easy thing to do, especially when you're combining so many different looks. To get motivated and inspired I found several amazing rooms that pull of the eclectic style beautifully! I hope you find a little inspiration too and please share any tips or tricks you have up your sleeve on designing with this style.
